Jimi Hendrix


I think I've completed the study of Jimi...
there are some words in the background taken from 'love or confusion' which relate to the story of Icarus... as does the verse :0)

    Thanks Wendie :0) ...I have a perfect spot in my bedroom...but I'm not too sure what the other person who claims it's his room too would think of a gigantic Jimi gazing down at him LOL!! He's not quite so in lurve as me rofl!

    I must do something in pen and wash soon again...have been pondering a william blake inspired one which would be a good candidate wouldn't it ;0)
    I wore out several more pencils on this...it was a bit too big really for pencil...should get me charcoal out again...now that's what I really lurve doing LOL

    ...yesterday an AMAZING magical thing happened...Rosa Lee Brooks on whose R&B record Jimi made his first ever studio recording appearance , and someone who knew him very well indeed in person, came to my facebook page and said she thought I had really 'captured Jimi's image' :0)
    Thrilled doesn't quite cover it! See he's still making magic happen in the world....
