Christmas Edition of AIM magazine

The Christmas edition of the Artisans in Miniature
magazine is now available to read here:
I know I seem to say this every time...but it's the biggest one yet! 148 pages of brilliant miniatures with something for everyone and all absolutely free as ever!

  1. Wow... Cant imagine fashioning such marvels out of polymer clay. I have made 3 dolls and am such a putz when it comes to the faces that I have gone to buying porcelein to put them together with my costumes. Will not give up the ship though. I will try again. You have remarkable imagination and talent. And also a way with the written word. Your work is amazing!

  2. Hi Lady Jane, thank you so much!! That's so kind of you :)
Ooo no don't give up on the doll making...we all start the same way, and the more you do the better they get ;) Have you tried the little push moulds you can get, like the sue heaser ones...they might help get you an easier start, and you can change them into more and more of your own as you grow in confidence...might help get your eye in for scale and proportions maybe...just a thought! There are some good books too...Jaimie Carrington's one is lovely, as is the one by Katherine Dewey. :))
